TITLE
And now its time to sing a song about how shitty everything is right now!

ENTRY

So Ive just about had my fill of screaming at a wall aka arguing about this war.

Ive been doing enough of it over at Angelines forums and with several other people.

That and watching them just carpet bomb the living hell out of Baghdad Im just about sick of even thinking of Iraq and more importantly Bush and his buddies.

Which is probably why Ive dived head first into playing a borrowed copy of Mech Warrior 3 for the past few days. Yes its violence in its most entertaining form, but its unattainable violence.

Never will you see a hundred ton robot walking down the street strapped down with missiles and laser cannons. Physics speaking its all but impossible figuring the ground underneath such a large piece of machinery placed on two, comparatively speaking, small surfaces *its feet* would crumble beneath it.

Anyways

But its hard to ignore this war and the events it has inspired all around this world. It what everyone is talking about in real life or on there diaries to the point of sensory over load.

Even if this war ends within the next few days it wont truly end for months from now. The consequences of Bushs ham fisted actions will be felt for a long time. So long Im sure that the next president *or two* will still be trying to heal the wounds he has created in the past few months.

It so easy and quick to destroy something, but to build and repair takes a life time.

Now Im just biding my time for another year and a half so I can once again not vote for Bush, but with more conviction this time.

What scares me about that is if there is enough people blinded by this war to actually vote him in this time.

Another four more years of Bush?

Oh good god I wonder if Canada still has that thing where if you give up US citizenship to be a Canadian you get your own plot of land?

If sopack up my shit, Im movin!

Well to change the topic away from war

Last night was a sad night for me on a totally not war related means.

One of my favorite shows, actually my absolute favorite show on television right now aired its final episode last night.

Not because the show was coming to a natural ending. Not because it was doing crap for ratings. And not because the actors of the show are trying to go off for bigger and better things.

Because it basically breaks down to the head of the corporation that owns the Sci Fi channel doesnt like them space shows.

There excuse for canceling the show is a dip in the ratings in the past two seasons. Two seasons, I might add, that had three month blocks of no airings of the show for contract renegotiation and.who the hell knows for the other reason.

And yet even with this ratings dip it was still one of the most, possibly most, highly rated television show they had.

Yet they still cancel it at the end of the fourth season even though months before that they had renegotiated for a fourth and fifth season for the show.

Which makes it worse because they raised ours and the developers of the shows hopes which lead to the show ending on a to be continued.

And any dream fans of the show had of another channel picking up the series and continuing it is denied when the truth came out despite the Sci Fis claim no one has come forward to pick up the show.

The truth is part of the Sci Fis contract with the show is that they would still hold rights to all the old episodes for two years after the final episode. So for those final two years they can rerun the show all they want to earn even more money of it.

So tell me what channel will pick up and continue a show when the earliest they can pick up the previous four seasons to re-air and get a new, extended fan basis is two years? Adding on a to be continued for the final episode of those four seasons.

That means if you didnt see the show on the Sci-Fi channel, like for example your cable company doesnt have it, then you dont know what the hell is going on then.

Now the only hope me and other fans have of seeing anything else go on is if they pull a Star Trek and have a short lived television series at the beginning then move onto blockbuster movies that created a genre so huge it cant be denied.

Wishful thinking.

Man this has just been a seriously shitty week.

Reality blows goats and my favorite escape from reality disappears off the air waves only to be replaced by a TV show version of the Tremors movies.

I need candy or a blow job right now.

SOMETHING has to make me feel good.
