Apocolypse Now

Well once again, I have been one of the reviewed, this time on a web site called Naked Reviews here on our very own diaryland.

I'm shocked...I'm suprised...I did not expect this...I'm flumoxed...I'm perplexed....I'm some other 25 cent word!

*sits there with wide, shocked eyes*

Ok ok, I aint really suprised at all since I'm the one who submitted my site for review.

Yes, I know I'm suffering from a inferiorty complex..... now don't make my inferiorty complex kick yeah where it hurts most...right in your monitor..heh heh

anyways.....

So I go check out my review, after I saw a guestbook entry from Claire at Naked Reviews telling me I had ranked the highest score thus far.

HOLY SHIT!! She gave me a 99% out of a 100, and my ONLY fault she states is how sparadioc my entries can be...which is where I lose the one percent. Which means, if I was more regular, day by day or every other day, I would have had a 100% nakedness!!

I'm a little...ok quite a bit suprised they didn't mention my horrible spelling or my tendency to be as long winded as a Presidential speech. Of course, SOMEONE had to point out this fact of horrible spelling to me. I won't name names on this one, just a web link to his page...heh

I think, the only thing that disturbed me about this review was this line...

You are a rather opinionated and typical male! Your layout speaks authority and I can tell from your writing that you are like this.

Whoa, typical male!! When the hell did I become one of those!

*checks the tag in my shirt*

It says here I'm suppose to be the artsy, emotional nice guy..nothing about being a "typical male".

It also says dry clean only, but you bet your sweet ass I aint letting no dry cleaner come within five feet of me with a hot iron.

Can't you see past this hard shell I have built with sarcasm and cynicims to see the man inside me! See the pain I feel in my heart, to see how senstive I am to others needs and feelings. That deep down inside all I want to have is someone special to love me, hold me in her arms, protect my heart from the pain in the world as she gently kisses my tears away.

Can't you see past the shiny, in your face look of my web page, see past all my opinions and see the man inside me.....have you no mercy!!

*cries big crocodile tears as I sob uncontrollably and my nose drools more then a mental patient after a labatomy as I cry out "Oh, the humanity!"*

heh...ok, I can no longer keep a straight face on this.

Ok, so I'm opinionated, but who isn't in some way or another. There isn't a person out there that doesn't hold strongly to at least ONE opinion. I just happen to have a a lot of opinions about a lot of different things.

And when has it become a insult to be a "typical male", and what exactly is the definition of "typical male"?

I'm preaty sure for the good of all men, we REALLY shouldn't delve to deeply in the definition of that.

Speaking of opinions, and since the matter has come up in the news recently, I'm going to talk a bit about cloning.

Now I'm a big supporter in cloning, I think we should set up labratories to delve deeper into this science which as a lot of great potential in it.

I was thourghly annoyed when the public opinion turned to weak kneed people who can't distinguish reality form science fiction when they first cloned that sheep.

"Oh no, that can't do that!! They might start cloning people so they can take out the orginal person, then subsitute them with a brain washed clone!!"

Whoa, back off on the parnoia super freak. I wouldn't be to worried you are going to be cloned, after all, who needs to clone a McDonald's fry cook anyways.

So once again the fears of society over rule advancements in science and humanity. Ignoring the facts and only seeing what bad could come out of it.

Sure, there is going to be people who are going to abuse it. There will ALWAYS be people to exploit and abuse everything and anything.

There probably is some perv out there abusing silly puddy with oil and a porno mag, does that mean we shouldn't have made it just cause someone decides its something good for flogging there bishop with?

To joking of a example, ok, how about a serious one.

There are people all over this country abusing perscription drugs by selling them by the pill or taking them in the handfulls for a quick high, does that mean we never should have had perscription drugs in the first place?

No, now why no?

Ohhhhhhhhhhh, cause with out perscription drugs, thousands of people would die every year. Well gee, why didn't I think of that.

Well, using that line of reasoning, then why do you insist on our goverment NOT using a technology that will save thousands upon thousands of people's lives?

Because THAT is what you are doing when you yell at our goverment to NOT do cloning.

It can be used to replace lost body parts, decaying and dying internal organs, save dying people on waiting list for a new heart or a liver. All they would have to do is get a DNA sample from you, clone the apropriate body part, and there is no waiting list for it! In fact, since the part is made from your own DNA, it severly lowers the percentage of your body rejecting the new body part.

How about the concept of cloning animals we use for food. Think about it, combine that with the cloning of vegetation and you got....THE END OF WORLD HUNGER!

So, just for your information Uncle Booby there not actually wanting to clone babies, not that I heard about. What they want to clone is stem cells, because they believe with the cloning of stem cells things like Diabeties *hits home for you big guy*, spinal energies and numerous other things could be fixed with the cloning of stem cells and the introduction of it into the human body of the patient.

Now of course, there has been stories about them wanting to clone human's with no heads for organ harvesting. Which doesn't make sense to me, why make a whole body to harvest a few body parts off from. Why not just clone a single body part or organ, unless we don't have the technology to do that, I don't see why we would have to clone an entire body.

And lets face it folks, if we don't get to advancments in cloning, set up a rules system on the can do and not do's, some other country will do it. Just cause we refuse to face the inevitable and choose rather to ignore, doesn't mean everyone else is, and there is bound to be someone who will do it eventually. Do you really want it to be another country to do it, especially one that would prefer to wipe us out?
